They are at the market on both Mondays and Thursdays. Fish Family Farm from Bolton is rehabilitating an old milk delivery truck to sell out of at both market days. They have Jersey cows, which produce milk with the highest butterfat. They will scoop ice cream and sell milk in returnable glass bottles. They also do yogurt, butter, cream, cheese, and eggs. They are at the market on Thursdays. Beltane Farm is with us on Thursdays to sell fresh and aged goat cheeses and goats’ milk. Laurel Ridge Grass Fed Beef sells their beef from the Litchfield Hills at the market on the first Thursdays of the month. Delamatta Crafts is a mother and son business who produces jams, jellies, chutneys, and salsa from their hobby garden in Coventry. They also sell sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and eggs. They are at the market on Mondays. Snooty Foods is with the market on Thursdays selling pickles, spreads, marinades, and prepared foods. Fresh Trak Salsa from East Granby produces four different kinds of salsas: mild, medium, hot, and beans with corn. They source locally in season and also sell Pan de Oro tortilla chips, which are made with organic corn in Hartford. They will be coming on Thursdays. Bean and Leaf roasts organic and fair trade coffees in New London and also does loose leaf teas. They will be selling their teas, beans, and brewed hot and iced coffee at the market on Thursdays. Tranquil Morning Farm from South Windsor is a fiber farm which produces yarn from its goats, sheep, rabbits, and alpacas. They also make bars of soap with their goats’ milk. |
